Ferhad Zohny appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi

With a Master's in Marketing from the University of Wales in the United Kingdom, Ferhad brings over fifteen years of experience in the hotel industry and has held a number of positions in five-star hotels in the world, including Egypt, the USA and Kuwait.

Ferhad previously held director of sales roles with Intercontinental Abu Dhabi and received the second best sales team award in EMEA for the Intercontinental hotels group in 2009. More recently, he was the director of sales at Yas Viceroy Hotel in the UAE.

With his abundant knowledge of the GCC market and capacity as director of sales and marketing, Ferhad is responsible for the positioning of the hotel, analysing current and potential market trends, and driving the sales team to achieve market share.

Other than his passion to listen to the classic guitar and dive, Ferhad enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.
