- PRESS RELEASE
Al Tayer Motors, one of the UAE's premier automobile dealerships, has been named Ferrari's Middle East & Africa region 'Importer of the Year' for 2012, winning the title for the third time since 2008.
"We are pleased to win this award, which recognises the efforts being invested in promoting the Ferrari brand in the UAE through numerous activities organised together with Ferrari Middle East & Africa branch. We complete 25 historic years of representing the brand in the UAE this year, and look forward to continuing our successful association," said Ashok Khanna, Chief Executive Officer, Al Tayer Motors.
Commenting on the award, Giulio Zauner, General Manager, Ferrari Middle East & Africa, said, "We are extremely happy that Al Tayer Motors has been awarded this honour for a third time. Perfection and striving to be the best is embedded in Ferrari's DNA. As such we are keen to have our importers replicate these values across their business. We are confident that Al Tayer Motors will continue to exceed these standards well into the future."
Award-wining Al Tayer Motors began representing Ferrari in the UAE in 1988 with a single showroom in Dubai on Al Ittihad Road. In 2005, the showroom was relocated to its current facility on Sheikh Zayed Road.
In Abu Dhabi, Ferrari is represented through Premier Motors. The first showroom in Umm El Nar was opened in 2007 and was re-located to its current site in Khalidiya in 2011.
Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors offer all the models from Ferrari's current range including Ferrari California 30, 458 Italia, 458 Spider, FF and F12berlinetta in their showrooms. Being the sole authorised dealers for Ferrari in the UAE, the dealerships provide customers with the complimentary seven year scheduled maintenance programme.
Al Tayer Motors also offers a selection of pre-owned approved vehicles under the Ferrari Approved programme that have passed a series of extremely rigorous technical checks and controls drawn up by the Factory.
The inspection involves no less than 190 different checks covering everything from the running gear to the electrical systems, bodywork and interior and concludes with a test drive by a professional driver.
