Italian sports carmaker Ferrari has posted record results in 2012, calling it the best-ever trading period in its 66-year history, Gulf Daily News has reported. A total of 7,318 cars were delivered to the dealership network in 2012, up 4.5% over the previous year's figure, while revenues were up 8% to €2.433bn ($3.2bn), the company said. To further boost its presence in the various markets, Ferrari has reorganised its commercial network so that it now has four coordination centres; the US, Europe and the Middle East, China and Far East. The positive trend in the Middle East and Africa continued with an increase of 4.5% resulting in deliveries of cars rising to 556, Ferrari said.
