Festival Centre launches its first 'Kids Got Talent' show

Festival Centre Dubai Festival City has announced the launch of its first Kids Got Talent Show (KGT). The KGT will run from the 23rdof September till the 27th of October 2012 awarding contestants, semi-final and final winners with attractive prizes.
Festival Centre KGT will see a month long registration process with weekly auditions, semi-final and final shows to be hosted by the famous TV actor Moamen Nour, in addition to celebrity judge joining the judging panel during the semi-final and final ceremonies.
Registration is open to children from 6 to 15 years old in individuals and groups, from Sunday to Wednesday between 5pm - 7pm, starting September 23rd till October 17th 2012. Registrations Desks will be available at Festival Square and near IKEA.
A selection process will be conducted for the weekly auditions through a daily raffle draw at 7:30pm in Festival Square where 100 contestants will be auditioned every Friday from September 28th - October 19th 2012.
Weekly auditions will be conducted by the judging panel of Festival Centre Management members to select 5 talents according to their performance categories from music, dance and gymnastics to magic and sports tricks. 20 semi-finalists will be auditioned on Friday 26th October from 7:30pm - 9:30pm whereby 10 contestants will be selected to the final ceremony.
3 lucky winners will be the titleholders of Festival Centre Kids Got Talent and will be awarded with fantastic prizes.
Denise Chamassian added: "Festival Centre Kids Got Talent 2012 is the first of its kind "in-mall" children's talent show in the UAE. We hope this first season will be the start of a yearly event into Festival Centre's busy calendar of activities. It's all about putting back the festival into the City."
