Torah Cement was established in 1927 and started operation in 1929 as the first cement producer in Egypt. The company has advantage of being the closest cement producer to Cairo.Torah produces all types of cement.

Ordinary and Portland cement constitutes 80% of the company's production. Torah has nine production lines in Torah to produce different types of Portland Cement (six under wet process and three under dry process), plants to produce kraft paper and lime plants.
