In September 2004, the Executive Committee for the merger, between Arab Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (APHA) and Advanced Pharmaceutical Industries (ADPH) recommended to shareholders the approval of this merger.

The new entity will be named Arab Pharmaceutical Manufacturing with a paid-up capital of JOD 20 mn, of which 71.7% will be distributed to APHA existing shareholders and 28.2% to ADPH existing shareholders.
