Commercial Bank of Oman (ComBank), the second largest bank in Oman in terms of paid-in capital at the end of 1999 and was absorbed by Bank Muscat later in 2000. The original ComBank was founded in 1976 and is one of the oldest banks in Oman.

The present bank was formed by the June 1998 merger of Bank of Oman, Bahrain & Kuwait (BOBK) and the previous ComBank - itself a product of a 1997 merger with Oman Savings & Finance Bank and a 1994 merger with Oman Banking Corporation.

The company was delisted from the Muscat Stock Exchange as of 30/05/02.
