8 million) and a soft loan from the Commerce & Industry Ministry for RO 4.5 million ($11.7 million). Figures for 1999, which included no operating income, show that the company recorded a loss of just under RO 64,000 ($166,000).

The first operating revenue should be reported for 2000. The price of the company's shares fell in 1999 in line with general market trends.
