InvestBank is a public shareholding company with limited liability, incorporated in Sharjah -UAE in 1975, the name of the bank was changed from Trade and Finance to InvestBank. The Bank provides commercial banking services within the UAE through branches established in Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The Paid up capital was increased from AED 200 million in 1997 ( divided into 2 million shares, par value AED 100 each) to 250 million at the end 1998 ( divided into 25 million ordinary shares par value 10 dirhams each).

A stock split of 100 to 10 was applied during the capital increase. At end 1999, the paid up capital stood at AED 300 million as a result of a bonus issue of 1 to 5. The Bank was rated BB by Capital Intelligence in Dec-1999
