5 million to AED 170 million and purchased Modern Ceramics in RAK, and a ceramic company in the Slovak Republic. In Jan 1999, RAK Ceramics had a second capital increase bringing up the capital to AED 204 million and bought during 2000 a small ceramic manufacturer in France.
