National Central Cooling Company PJSC, also known as Tabreed, is a Public Joint Stock Company that was incorporated in 1998. The company's principal activities include constructing, owning, assembling, installing, operating and maintaining cooling and conditioning systems; in addition to distributing and selling chilled water for use in district cooling technologies.

Tabreed currently owns 13 plants with a capacity of 80,700 refrigeration tons. Furthermore, the company has the following subsidiaries and related entities: Gulf Energy Systems LLC (100%, UAE), Tabreed Ras Al Khaimah LLC (100%, UAE), Emirates Preinsulated Pipes Industries LLC (60%, UAE), Installation Integrity 2000 LLC (60%, UAE), BAC Balticare Gulf LLC (100%, UAE), Summit District Cooling Company (51%, UAE), Bahrain District Cooling Company (55%, Bahrain), Ian Banham and Associates (70%, UAE), and Qatar District Cooling Company (44.

5%, Qatar). In addition, Tabreed has other regional expansion plans that include Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman.
