Fitness First expands presence in Abu Dhabi with grand opening of Dalma Mall Club

Fitness First, a franchise of the world's number one health and fitness club chain and a member of the Landmark Group, celebrated the grand opening of its mixed club at Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi.

The opening ceremony included interactive entertainment activities that drew the enthusiastic participation of guests and members.

In an ultimate celebration of bringing the best of fitness from across the world to the capital city Abu Dhabi, the event recreated a canvas of colour and culture through staging the traditional Bhangra, Zulu War dance, Bamboo dance, Shabee Shabee, Rancherista, Ragga and Rancho. The dances were uniquely representative of South Africa, the Philippines, Morocco, Egypt, Bulgaria, Zimbabwe and Portugal to name a few.

George Flooks, COO, Fitness First, said: "The inauguration of the Dalma Mall club expands our footprint in Abu Dhabi and takes us one step forward in our plans for 2012. We look forward to offering our existing and potential customers in Abu Dhabi an all-round fitness experience at the facility. We take this opportunity to reiterate our aim to provide the community in Abu Dhabi with easy access to fitness through establishing new outlets across the emirate."

Fitness First's pipeline for the region includes clubs at Al Fardan Centre and Sahara Centre, Sharjah, Julphar Towers in RAK and Century Mall in Fujairah, Outside the UAE new club openings include King Abdulla Riyadh, KSA, Gallery Mall, Al Khor Qatar, and 360 Mall Kuwait.

Fitness First is dedicated to 'making the world a fitter place' with its state-of-the-art equipment, fully qualified personal trainers and the latest group exercise classes.
