New five-star resort to come up in Salalah

Musstir, part of Oman's MB Group, and its 50% joint venture partner, Omran, have unveiled plans to build a luxury hotel in Salalah, Oman Daily Observer has reported. The five-star Al Baleed Resort & Spa is scheduled for completion in 24 months in December 2014. It will comprise 106 one-, two-, and three-bedroom chalets, most with their own private courtyard swimming pools, recreation facilities, spa, food and beverage outlets, themed restaurants and function areas.
