Playing host to the major IOC and NOC's from around the Middle East as well as the industries leading flare management companies including Callidus Technologies by Honeywell, John Zink Company and Hamworthy Combustion Engineering, DESCON, ZEECO, Wärtsilä, Caltec and Transvac Systems, the summit will focus on topics relating to, utilising flare gas to minimise wastage, improving flare reduction on aging brownfield assets and frameworks to achieve flaring targets in line with international and national regulation.
The Project Director at IQPC Middle East, Rachel Sturgess says, "IQPC is honoured to work with the industry's foremost experts, the World Bank GGFR and we look forward to seeing this annual meeting grow in parallel with the regions flaring targets. Thanks to new technology developments, flare minimisation is becoming increasingly accessible and viable for operators of both greenfield and brownfield projects. As a topic that affects the global population I'm extremely pleased to see the major oil and gas operators actively pursuing flare minimisation strategies. The Flare Management and Reduction Summit is an opportunity to establish a regional collaboration between stakeholders of this fiercely debated issue and help address the key challenges faced by the industry today."
Over the 4 days of summit and breakout workshops, leading industry experts will discuss and decide upon the most strategic issues regarding flare reduction, gas utilisation and financial investment that will drive the reduction of flare emissions in the industry.
The summit will also feature a world-class exhibition of international flaring visionaries including IOC's, NOC's, technology providers and consultants who will showcase technological innovations, provide solutions to the global flare management industry and offer advice and updates on industry developments.
The congress is organised by IQPC Middle East, under the advice and supervision of the World Banks GGFR partnership.
