FlyDubai to boost Sri Lanka services

FlyDubai is to operate three weekly flights, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, to Sri Lanka's new Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) from May 21, Sunday Observer has reported. The low-cost carrier also plans to operate a daily frequency from MRIA from June making it the first airline to launch daily flights at the new airport. The airline currently operates daily flights to Colombo, and with the introduction of daily flights to MRIA from next month, FlyDubai would have a double daily to Sri Lanka.
