- PRESS RELEASE
Ahead of this year's Middle East Business Aviation conference, MEBA 2012 at Dubai World Central, 11 - 13 December, Flying Colours Corp., the Canada-based completions, refurbishment and maintenance specialists, has received confirmation of its first Saudi registered aircraft maintenance project.
Flying Colours Corp received the required maintenance approvals from the Riyadh-based General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in September and is now permitted to carry out continuous airworthiness and line maintenance on aircraft registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This first maintenance order from Saudi follows hard on the heels of the news that Bombardier has appointed Flying Colours Corp, and subsidiary US-based JetCorp Technical Services, as Authorized Service Facilities (ASF), for Learjet and Challenger business jets.
Combined with the GACA approval, and other existing approvals, Flying Colours Corp. is positioning itself as a leading maintenance service provider. In addition it is already a key supplier of green completions, aircraft refurbishments, avionics installations and implementations of on-board connectivity solutions across the Bombardier Challenger, Global Express and Learjet families, as well as Dassault Falcon types.
Reducing Down Time for Owners and Operators
This will be the fourth year that Flying Colours has attended MEBA and following the recent ASF approval will be delivering the message that aircraft owners can reduce down time of their fleet by utilising its full spectrum of services.
Owners can request for line maintenance, heavy maintenance and overhaul work to be undertaken whilst interior upgrades, connectivity implementation, exterior paint jobs, and avionics are carried out simultaneously.
"We know our clients rely heavily on their aircraft for their business travel, it is an essential business tool for them, and with our new Bombardier ASF approval we are in an even stronger position to offer both maintenance and interiors services in parallel. We can minimise time on the ground significantly saving owners and operators time, money and inconvenience," commented Sean Gillespie Executive Vice President, Flying Colours Corp.
"Attendance at exhibitions like MEBA means we can communicate our updated approvals status with existing clients and inform potential clients about the benefits of utilising our facilities. The Middle East is an extremely important region for us and we anticipate a serious growth in business from this region following the recent Bombardier ASF approval," Executive Vice President, Flying Colours Corp.
