Should UAE companies consider pension schemes?For decades experts in the Western world have warned that the number of 'baby boomers' reaching retirement, combined with increased life expectancy, will place an unsustainable strain on State pensions. An unavoidable consequence of the percentage of those in retirement increasing is that the percentage of those working (and therefore paying the State pensions of those in retirement) decreases. As a result of this, virtually every company in Europe and the US offers a pension scheme for its employees.

Dubai prices rise, but analysts warn against over-optimismThe average prices for houses in 13 major locations around Dubai increased by 6.5% in June, compared to the average for the previous month, although analysts said that this did not mean that falls in the emirate's property market were over.
