Ford Middle East appoints new Sales Director

Ford Middle East announced the appointment of Thierry Sabbagh as the company's regional director of Sales, supporting Ford and Lincoln dealers across the GCC markets, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen.

A Lebanese national, Sabbagh comes from an extensive automotive background having held various positions in sales and marketing on the manufacturer and dealership fronts. Prior to his post at Ford Middle East, he was general manager for Wunderman Dubai for two years. He also worked for General Motors Middle East from 2006 to 2010, holding various posts including his last assignment as Regional Brand manager for Cadillac. Prior to that, he was Group Marketing manager for Mercedes-Benz at Gargash Enterprises (2001-2006).

Larry Prein, Ford Middle East's managing director, said: "We are pleased to welcome Thierry to our organisation and look forward to his valuable contribution to our team. With his knowledge and background, we are confident that he will lead our sales division to greater heights and accelerate the delivery of Ford and Lincoln products across our dealerships in the region."

Thierry is married with two kids and holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from University of West London, UK.
