French expertise to take flight at Aircraft Interiors and MRO Middle East

UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development, in partnership with the French Chamber of Commerce of Paris, will present 19 innovative companies on the French Pavilion at the Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) and MRO Middle East trade shows, which will be held inDubai, 22 and 23 January 2013.

Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) is the only exhibition in the Middle East region on the following topics: Aircraft Interiors, VIP interiors, In Flight Entertainment, connectivity and catering.

The trade show is organized in parallel with MRO which is already a reference in the field of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul in the region.

The previous events held in February 2012 drew 250 exhibitors from 70 countries and 2,500 visitors - an increase of 33% on the 2011 show. These events present a good opportunity for French companies to demonstrate their technologies and know-how as both shows are the ideal platform for suppliers, manufacturers and buyers to network and establish new relationships in the Middle East.

"The French know-how in the field of aircraft interiors and aeronautical maintenance is well-known, French companies wish to share this know-how with companies of Middle East, especially since they have a good knowledge of the Airbus ranges, well introduced in the region. They can thus supply fully adapted services to the airlines and maintenance centers of Middle East", says Brice Robin, Aerospace Project Manager at UBIFRANCE.

French innovations on Aircraft Interiors Middle East will be presented in Hall 5, stand 433. Several sectors of excellence are to be seen such as innovative and luxury passengers seats, metallic and composite structural parts; innovative fastening systems, lighting systems, HD system allowing HD video and audio distribution as well as many 3D solutions. Experts on high standing uniforms will also be part of the show. Last but not least, one can discover the latest security equipment against all kinds of terrorist threats.The companies hosted on this pavilion are APLIX, CREATION & IMAGE PARIS, EADS SOGERMA, PGA Electronic, SEMAWORLD.

The French Pavilion on MRO Middle East will gather 14 companies in various fields : Precision maintenance tooling and ground support equipment, including safety equipment, mobile multi-device applications for MROs, RFID solutions for aerospace and chemical products for maintenance. The offer is representative of the French aeronautic industry.

One can for example get information about APUs repairs and overhauls for a wide range of Airbus and Boeing aircrafts, as well as for regional aircrafts.

A global and innovative concept to reduce aircraft downtime through aircraft fuel leak detection and repair, solutions to solve the time-critical transportation needs of the Aerospace Industry, as well as high technology diagnosis tools for cables and harnesses allowing an immediate fault location will also be presented and complete this Pavilion (Hall 6, stand 534 and 540).
