  • PRESS RELEASE

FVC, one of the leading Value Added Distributors in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, will create focus areas for technology solutions for six key industry sectors at Gitex. The company will work with its key vendor partners to showcase its expertise in Unified Communications, Information Security, and Advanced Networking.

Dharmendra Parmar, General Manager Marketing at FVC, said, "Over the past decade that we have been in the value-added business, we have been able to highlight key challenges that each of these key sectors face and developed successful solutions with our vendor partners that help the IT managers of these key sectors tackle these challenges. We felt that we should share some of these solutions with our partners and customers."

According to Parmar, while some of these challenges are common to all industry including network management and security, each sector has unique challenges especially in communications. For example the education sector considers unified communications for distance learning and collaboration while the oil & gas sector is focused on accessing expert consultations for crisis management on rigs.

In addition, FVC will have special demonstration rooms for Polycom's popular Immersive Real Presence solution (RPX), as well as its CIE (Customer Immersive Experience). CIE, using collaborative technology from Polycom and Microsoft Lync Solutions delivers standards-based, unified communications that lets the enterprise user collaborate from the desk, on the road, at home, or in a conference room.

FVC is available on Stand Z-G1 in Zabeel Hall.
