Gama's 1,600m2 hangar will house not only the dedicated Scottish Air Ambulance King Air aircraft, but will also provide hangarage for up to Bombardier Challenger size aircraft, both from within Gama's own fleet and third party aircraft. When complete the hangar development will also provide a full base and line maintenance hangar facility, complementing Gama's engineering facilities in the London area.
The development of a Gama Aviation Executive Terminal, will afford operators a new transit/tech stop between North America and the Middle East in particular. For example, the Glasgow Gama Aviation Executive Terminal will link Gama's Teterboro, USA, FBO with its new FBO facility in Sharjah, UAE.
Glasgow was chosen as the latest Gama FBO as is the optimum stopover point on the 'Great Circle' route, being located virtually midway between the USA and the UAE.

Gama Aviation was recently selected to be the dedicated provider of Air Ambulance services to the Scottish Air Ambulance service for a further seven years (from 2013 to 2020).
