'Gefinor Rotana' welcomes its new General Manager Franck Royer

Rotana, the leading hotel management company in the Middle East and Africa, has announced the appointment of Franck Royer as General Manager of 'Gefinor Rotana'.
Commenting on his new appointment, Franck Royer said, "I am looking forward to coming back to Lebanon and to bringing my expertise to Gefinor Rotana." A French veteran with over twenty years of experience in the international hotel industry including UK, France, West-Indies, Canada, Oman, Lebanon, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar and China, Franck will bring a unique depth of experience to this new position. Having previously served for another Rotana property, Al Bustan Rotana, for five years, Franck also brings extensive experience from having worked for similar top hotel chains such as the Intercontinental. He has an integrated depth of knowledge from working in business hotels, boutique hotels and resort hotels, F&B consultancy management and mass catering organization which was his core passion and what got him into the industry in the first place. He is customer-focused, detail-oriented and is passionate about the world of hospitality.
Gefinor Rotana's outgoing General Manager, Mark Timbrell joined Rotana in April 2007 and contributed to almost six years of success and smooth running to this date. He will be continuing his career with Rotana at the Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan in Abu Dhabi, a spectacular city resort hotel which opened in 2010.
Commenting on his departure, he said, "The dedication of a wonderful staff, a superb location and unwavering support from the businesses community, travel agencies and regular guests are the ingredients that make Gefinor Rotana a truly remarkable and successful hotel in a fabulous city."
