Gitex 2012 concludes amid international appreciation to Bahrain's pavilion

GITEX Technology Week 2012, which was held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates between 14th - 18th October; concluded today in the midst of international applaud to Bahrain's pavilion.

The services and products showcased at the pavilion attracted masses of visitors and participants.

While visiting Bahrain's pavilion, Information Technology Authority (ITA) of Oman CEO Dr. Salim Sultan Al Ruzaiqi hailed the organization of the pavilion which engaged all sectors - public, private and NGOs. He recommended such approach to be pursued by the governments with the aim to attract investment opportunities to the country. Dr. Al Ruzaiqi also praised the latest achievements and services of the eGovernment program, applauding the integrated (eKey) system which serves citizens and provides a single sign on for all the eGovernment services.

"Bahrain's pavilion has shown an incredible presence in Gitex; what distinguishes it among the rest is the fusion it has created by bringing together a large variety of NGOs that comprise the public and private sectors, to work under one roof. The exhibition witnesses the engagement of all sectors and promotes such organizations which have gathered to organize this event that offers some of the latest and most advanced high-class technology products that have been exclusively released in the exhibition," stated CEO and Chief Researcher of the Research Studios Austria, Professor Peter Bruck.

Representing the Singaporean delegates, Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Manager of Data and Accounting at Fieran Company praised the unique organization of Bahrain's pavilion in terms of space and number visitors, and how it showcases a range of state-of the-art ICT products.

Furthermore, a Chinese delegation paid a visit to Bahrain's pavilion led by Mr. Ho Jin Shin from CTG Company who expressed his respect to the services and products provided by various exhibitors within the pavilion, predicting more companies to participate in GITEX next year.

Bahrain's pavilion witnessed the participation of a group of public and private sectors that comprised the eGovernment Authority, Economic Development Board, the regional center of ICT, Bahrain ICT Supplies Trade Association (BISTA), Bahrain Investors Center and a number of entities in the industry.

The pavilion was organized by Future Gulf Business in partnership with LMRA - Tamkeen who supported the participants of private companies which include Al Nadeem IT, AlMoayyed Computers, Hitech WLL, Microsoft, Life Telecommunications BSC, Ascentech Telecom, ICOL Plus, Bin Hindy Informatics WLL, Sky and Land Technologies and Communications, AFNO Middle East, AlAmthal Consulting and Programming, Computer World, Digital Middle East, Denvert Business Solutions, Etisalcom, Global ETS, Andra sistemas, Information Village, Uni-Data, Kanoo Consulting Services, Kanoo Information Technology, Mela Bahrain, New Horizon, Open Source Technology, Zayani Computer Systems, Mantech Computer Services, Yokogawa Middle East, and ThinkSmart for Training and Development.
