Gitex Shopper to be held twice a year

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has announced the next edition of Gitex Shopper, which will be held twice a year from now, will be held from April 3-6 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gulf News has reported. The move follows a directive issued on Tuesday by HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. "It is important for the UAE to maintain its leadership position in sustaining the growth of technology in the region, and, we have the support to deliver the successful Gitex Shopper extravaganza twice annually," Helal Saeed Al Merri, CEO of DWTC, said.
