Global Knowledge to host regional 'Bring Your Own Device' roadshow

Global Knowledge, the worldwide leader in IT and business skills training today announced it will be holding the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device): A Blessing or a Curse? roadshow across the Middle East and Africa region from February 17th - February 27th.

The free to attend roadshow will be conducted by Global Knowledge's skilled BYOD experts and will also mark the first time Global Knowledge will be conducting the BYOD: A Blessing or a Curse? roadshow.

The BYOD roadshow will focus on the wide range of critical security and management aspects companies need to consider when allowing employees to use their own iPhone, Androids, iPads, and other gadgets instead of company-owned and supplied devices.

The roadshow brings to the forefront these pertinent issues as well as such topics as what is BYOD, adopting BYOD, BYOD from a strategic perspective, how to implement BYOD and BYOD vendor solutions. These topics will be addressed by Global Knowledge's EMEA and Emerging Markets Product Manager, Bahaa Salem and MEA Networking Product Manager, Adel Karim, while BYOD technical insights will be shared by Global Knowledge's Middle East and Africa security program manager, Ronald Ramzy. Each topic will be introduced in sessions lasting throughout the day.

Designed for CIOs, IT managers, systems engineers, network engineers, and IT security engineers, the roadshow will enable managers and engineers alike to gain valuable insight into how to adopt and implement a well rounded company wide BYOD strategy as well as examining best of breed BYOD vendor solutions in the market and any technical issues to consider.

The four city regional roadshow is slated to kick off in Riyadh February 17th at the Marriott Hotel, with the next event at Doha's the Torch Hotel February 24th then at Dubai's Atlantis the Palm Hotel February 25th. The last stop of the roadshow will be in Cairo February 27th at the Intercontinental City Stars.
