Research firm eMarketer has said Google is expected to take back the top spot in US display ad revenue this year from Facebook. The social networking website passed Google last year for the first time, but Google has since bounced back on the strength of its ad network, including video ads on YouTube and mobile ads. The search giant is projected to generate $2.31bn in net display ad revenue in 2012, while Facebook is projected to take home $2.16bn, according to eMarketer.
