Google's participates in 2013 Arabian Travel Market

Participating in the Arabian Travel Market for the first time in its history, Google Inc. was set to announce the findings of a large study which was conducted by IPSOS regarding the habits of MENA travelers. The ATM is the region's largest trade event for the travel and hospitality industry.

As Google's activation agency in the region, Entourage marketing and events pulled off a strategic branding and activation plan which served to promote Think Travel with Google to the relevant stakeholders throughout the region.

The activation plan by Entourage aimed to provide the ideal platform for Google to engage with its stakeholders, prospective customers and guests in the most fruitful manner.

Mohammed Tayem, MD, Entourage said, "The world is at your fingertips with Google's suite of travel solutions - this was our inspiration behind building focused branding and engagement ideas at the Arabian Travel Market."

Entourage designed the main breakout area at the ATM and branded it as Google Café, this approach aimed to reach out to each and every visitor of the event. Within the café, visitors had the chance to interact with Google products and services through its interactive and engaging branding.

In addition to the café, Entourage helped transform the technology theater at the venue and turn it into a Google Theater, a dedicated arena for presenting big ideas that will change industry standards in the region. Google Theater was the most visited attraction at the ATM and the site of the announcement of the IPSOS study.

Tarek Abdalla, Google Head of Marketing - Arabian Gulf & Levant, said, "We relied on Entourage to bring the magic of the Google brand to life. We wanted to have a strong presence as it was our first time at the ATM and they created an experience that was both unique and powerful."

Recently, entourage helped Saudi Arabian Airlines to generate a huge crowd and success at the ATM, the agency utilized its strong ATM track record to deliver the most effective trade marketing solution for Google.
