Graduate partnership programme between AUE and Villanova University, USA

The American University in the Emirates welcomed a group of 29 students from the Villanova School of Business, Villanova University which is located in Philadelphia, USA and is ranked amongst the top 25 business schools in the USA, to its campus as part of a graduate partnership programme between two institutions.
The President of the American University in the Emirates, said, "'UAE Familiarization Programme' is the first in the series of such initiatives between the Villanova University and the American University in the Emirates."
"The objective of this programme is to acquaint the foreign students with the economic, social and cultural development of the UAE and particularly Dubai," he added.
The Director, Local, Regional & International Affairs, AUE mentioned, "The students will be visiting various key organizations of the region such as Dubai Chamber of Commerce, DUCAB, Dubai Financial Market, Lamprell, Dubai Court, Sharjah Museums, and DIFC wherein they will have an opportunity to interact with the concerned officials on various relevant issues to understand the functioning and management of the organization."
Within this framework, the American delegation was first welcomed by AUE President and the Provost followed by a seminar on the culture in the gulf delivered by the Vice- Chancellor for Admin & Financial Affairs.
On this occasion, Prof. Sohail Choudhry, Programme Director, Villanova University, International Practicum expressed his sincere thanks to AUE for extending all support and kind hospitality to make their stay intellectually enriching.
