Grayling Middle East awarded Hilton Worldwide PR contract

  • United Arab Emirates: Saturday, May 11 - 2013 at 14:02
  • PRESS RELEASE

Grayling Middle East, part of the world's second largest independent public relations network, has been awarded the communications contract for the Hilton Worldwide (HWW) group of hotels in the Arabian Peninsula.

The communications program, which marks another major win for the network in the region, will see Grayling provide strategic public relations services to HWW, in addition to corporate communication services and media relations to 20 regional hotel properties.

This win coincides with Grayling's appointment of Loretta Ahmed as the new CEO for the Middle East and Africa. Loretta joined Grayling in 1994 and has managed and directed major public affairs and public relations campaigns across the UK and Europe. Most recently, as CEO for Grayling's UK and Ireland operations, she led a team of over 200 consultants and oversaw award winning campaigns for high-profile British organisations and Fortune 500 companies.

"This is a great achievement for Grayling in the Middle East," commented Loretta Ahmed. "We are very excited to work with a leading hospitality brand like Hilton Worldwide. We already have a very strong relationship with Hilton in Europe and we're delighted to get the opportunity to extend our remit to the Middle East, which is one of the fastest growing markets for both Hilton Worldwide and Grayling."

Heather Shaw, senior director for corporate communication, Hilton Worldwide Middle East & Africa, added, "We're looking forward to working with Grayling. The Middle East region is crucial to the Hilton Worldwide group and with a number of exciting launches coming up, we're very excited about this partnership and working with the Grayling team to grow the HWW brand regionally and globally."

Grayling has established itself as one of the leading international communications firms in the MENA region with over 25 years of experience in the region with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Jeddah, employing over 50 consultants across the region.
