- PRESS RELEASE
Haya Water, the company responsible for developing, designing, constructing and operating water-reuse projects throughout Muscat Governorate is proud to announce an all new initiative to connect with customers and other stakeholders - the Haya Water Mobile Application which will enable direct conversation with Haya Water's customers through a global platform.
An all new communication channel from Haya Water, this mobile application will be a fresh avenue for customers to be on top of company news, announcements, complaint statuses, service contacts among an array of other benefits.
Most importantly, in the age of digital and mobile communication, it is essential that customers can reach Haya Water at any time, from anywhere across the globe and this application will guarantee just that.
Eng. Hussain AbdulHussain, CEO Haya Water, said, "Haya Water's mission has consistently been to stand true to our commitment towards creating a better and safer environment for residents across the Muscat governorate. We are very proud to announce the Haya Water mobile application which will ensure that we can stay connected with our customers at all times."
He also mentioned, "At the touch of a button, community members, customers, industry professionals, partners, staff can quickly gather information about latest company news, raise company-related issues, post suggestions, follow up on ongoing queries, calculate wastewater charges and locate Haya Water offices, should they have any further queries. A 'social by design' application, we are confident that it will bring netizens and local customers closer to us, which in turn will make way for a dual-way communication feed, essential towards achieving our objectives."
In addition to the new mobile application, Haya Water is also effectively communicating with the internet generation through a dedicated YouTube channel, Facebook page and Twitter handle. Recently, company's call centre system has been updated in line with the latest developments. However, the official Haya Water website has recently been rejuvenated to incorporate elements of interactivity and is constantly updated to keep customers and stakeholders up to speed with developments within the Company.
Compared to the traditional 'wired' internet, mobile Applications have several advantages, the most important one being that they can connect customers from any geography. Turnaround time is minimum, as customers can do things immediately - they can 'like', share concerns and ideas, send requests, broadcast alerts among many other features.
For a company like Haya Water who are responsible for implementing a very important national project, which serves a large segment of residents, having a mobile application will be a quick and effective way to communicate and interact with the project beneficiaries. Since its inception, the company was keen to improve the means of communication with the community and find new effective ways to connect with customers.
Haya's mobile application sprouted from this idea, which mainly aims to add more value to customer services, and makes services available to Haya Water customers at the tips of their fingers. The Company is also working on the second development phase of the application that will include some more features and services.
Haya Water's vision is to enable Muscat to become one of the top cities in the world by building and operating a world class Water Reuse system that connects at least 80% of the residential properties by the year 2018 and brings enormous environmental benefits to the Muscat Governorate area.
