Haya Water launches OR29m water reuse project in Amerat

Oman's Haya Water has awarded a joint venture comprising The Arab Contractors and National United Engineering & Contracting Co the first construction contract in the Al Amerat Water Reuse Project, Muscat Daily has reported. The contract is for the installation of sewer and treated effluent pipelines in Amerat Western area. The 47-month contract, valued at OR28.9m, will deliver a wide range of services to the sultanate, including 23km of sewers, 7km of treated effluent line installation and 43km of house connections encapsulating 2,900 properties. The project will be handed over to Haya Water in August 2016.
