Head Of Survey and Land Registration Bureau and Works Minister inspect the Bureau's new building

HE the Head of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifadiscussed the progress in the construction of the bureau's new building located in Seef district with HE the Minister of Works Eng.Essambin Abdulla Khalaf during their visit to the project.
Electrical, mechanical and health works reached 80% completion, while external works reached 19% completion and electrical generators 85% completion.
They also discussed the parking lots design, and the car entrance and exit points allocated for staff, in order to avoid traffic congestion once work is completed. The project external fence schemes were also highlighted, which include guarding rooms, electronic gates, CCTV cameras and car shades.
Glass facades were installed on three sides and work is underwayto complete the northern facade of the project, which features a different design of36mm thickness in order to reduce the noise coming from King Faisal Highway, adjacent to the project, and also provide resistance against north wind pressure.
Project's contractor stressed that they would spare no efforts to complete work in due date. The number of workers in the project reached 740 workers, while work is being implemented in two periods and continuous working hours; now that August and the summer work ban are over.
The Survey & Land Registration Bureau invited bids for the provision of furniture, for which 19 companies presented their bids. The bids are now being reviewed in order to award the tender to the best offer and therefore complete the project on time.
