HH Crown Prince of Dubai and HH Deputy Ruler of Dubai visit the Du stand at GitexTechnology Week 2012

H. H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive and His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai Council visited Du stand (Z-F20) in Gitex Technology Week 2012 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre today 14 October.
They were briefed on Du's array of individual and business services, it's commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship and sustainability in the UAE.
In their presence Du unveiled the sustainability initiatives memorial wall. It summarises the corporate social responsibility initiatives over the past years and coincide with Du's support to the upcoming World Energy Forum as a lead sponsor.
This year, the company stand is centered on creating individual experiences for its customers and is offering an interactive extravaganza (stand #Z-F20). With the focus on the unique, value-added services that the telecom offers to add life to life every day, visitors can enjoy an exciting array of communications benefits in a fun-filled, entertaining and interactive format.
Du is also showcasing next generation business solutions providing solutions for organisations of tomorrow. Business customers visiting Du's stand can experience cutting-edge breakthroughs in cloud computing, smart communications and green computing available in an interactive display format.
Du, as part of its continuous exploration of new technologies that will add life to life for its customers, has announced the successful testing of two regional firsts on its LTE 4G network. These two additions will greatly improve the user experience when launched, by adding constant connectivity to allow customers to both make calls and use their data services at the same time, and improving smartphone battery life.
In addition, Du has successfully tested mobile broadband speeds of up to 300Mbps. Visitors to Du's stand (#Z-F20) at Gitex are able to experience this speed through a hands-on demonstration.
