Hill+Knowlton Strategies appoints Mona Gauvreau as General Manager in Dubai

Hill+Knowlton Strategies welcomes Mona Gauvreau to the role of General Manager for the Dubai office. Gauvreau transferred to the Middle East from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she was Vice President with Hill+Knowlton. She will report to Sconaid McGeachin, President and CEO India, Middle East, Africa & Turkey.

Gauvreau is an accredited public relations professional with 25 years of combined corporate and agency experience.

She has been a trusted advisor to clients in a variety of sectors including energy, aviation, construction, consulting services, tourism, and government.

She has a particular expertise in crisis communications and executive training, from preparedness to message development and strategic counsel during an emergency.

"We are very excited about Mona heading our operations in Dubai as General Manager as she is an accomplished professional with a long and impressive track record in team leadership and service excellence, which she gained both outside and inside Hill+Knowlton Strategies," said McGeachin.

"Our clients will value her experience and depth of strategic counsel, and so will our own people as Mona focuses on further building our various industry practices, providing guidance and direction to our team," he added.

In the years prior to H+K, Gauvreau operated a small full service agency with an impressive portfolio of clients, and conducted crisis communication training throughout North America, the Middle East and Europe. She has worked on international summits including the Kananaskis G8 Summit and APEC Finance Ministers conference.
