HIPA supports DIFF to further encourage regional creativity

The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) has announced that the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) will be a "supported by" sponsor alongside Dubai Culture & Arts Authority of the 9th edition of the Festival set to take place between December 9 - 16, 2012.
HIPA contributes to the development of the art of photography, discovers and encourages talented photographers to participate and engage in global photography activities. The award is dedicated to support all talented and professional photographers world-wide, giving them a unique opportunity to compete and excel in this artistic field.
Mr. Abdulhamid Juma, Chairman of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), said: "We are honored by the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award's (HIPA) recognition of DIFF as a strategic organisation that promotes open dialogue between cultures and encourages creativity in the region.
