Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi welcomes new management

The Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi is all set for a management revamp. Fresh faces have been added to the senior management team, to retain the freshness of this soon-to-turn 3 year old property.
Philipp has enjoyed an international career with assignments in Europe, at the Intercontinental Cannes, the Americas, at the Intercontinental Miami and has also served as the Resident Manager with the Intercontinental Abu Dhabi, before moving to the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi.
"I have had an exciting journey with the IHG so far. I, now, look forward to fulfilling a very important role, as General Manager with the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi. I have a great team working with me and I am sure we will achieve the targets set forth for us," said Philipp Economou, General Manager, Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi.
On 9th September, the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi welcomed, Carl Moore as the Executive Chef for Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi. Carl has been with the IHG for 2 years, as the Executive Sous Chef, at the Crowne Plaza, Yas Island.
Darren Suttie will join the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi as the Food and Beverage Manager on 3rd October 2012. Darren too has been with the IHG for 2.5 years and is currently serving his notice period as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at the Crowne Plaza, Yas Island.
The final addition to the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi family will be Sohail Riaz, who will join the hotel as the Finance and Business Support Manager effective from 15th October 2012.
Sohail has been with the IHG for over 8 years and has worked at the Intercontinental and Crowne Plaza hotels. He joins the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi from the Crown Plaza Dubai Festival City, where he served as the Assistant Finance and Business Support Manager.
