- PRESS RELEASE
HP announced that it will be showcasing the latest education technology software at the Arab Education Summit, a landmark event in Jordan bringing together captains of industry and government leaders to ensure the world-class delivery of education, science and technology across the Middle East and North Africa.
"HP Smartlife Classroom Manager is a new phase in digital teaching bringing a highly interactive and engaging educational experience for students and teachers to meet the growing demand for the highest quality education in the Middle East," said Eyad Shihabi, Managing Director, HP Middle East.
"Education has always been a key sector for HP. We strive to consistently introduce the latest innovations and technology software that improves the quality of learning," he added.
The new software enables a far closer interaction between teachers and students. Teachers can monitor student activity and progress, create collaborative lesson plans with shared content, communicate with any student without interrupting the class flow and easily apply basic and advanced features to create an engaging learning environment.
In addition, the software helps teachers to administer real-time quizzes, tests, or surveys and view student progress in case assistance is needed, share any desktop with students or the entire class, as well as control printers, keyboards, monitors, USB drives, or other connected devices.
The Arab Education Summit is a landmark event organised under the patronage of the Jordanian Ministry of Education and with the support of the Jordanian government will ensure the participation of ministers, deputies and director generals from more than 15 countries.
The Arab Education Summit will run from 6th-8th May 2013 at the Grand Hyatt, Amman, Jordan.
