HSBC Bank Oman, which in June was formed after merging Oman International Bank (OIB) with HSBC's Oman operations, said the bank has completed integration of systems, while rebranding and issuing of new account numbers to erstwhile OIB customers will be completed before the year end, Times of Oman has reported. The integration entailed bringing both entities onto a single systems platform and substantial investments in training and new technology infrastructure to ensure the efficient operation of the combined branch network. The bank has around 400,000 retail customers and another 10,000 commercial customers and a network of 83 branches.
