HTC postpones One smartphone shipments

Taiwan-based smartphone maker HTC has said shipments of its upcoming HTC One model have been delayed due to supply problems, the Wall Street Journal has reported. A problem with suppliers of parts such as the phone's metal casings and camera parts has disrupted shipment schedules, HTC executives said. "HTC has had difficulty in securing adequate camera components as it is no longer a tier-one customer," a company executive told the daily.
