Huawei focuses on channel enhancement in Saudi Arabia for 2013

Huawei Enterprise, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today hosted its first annual Channel Partner Summit in Saudi Arabia.

Huawei Day Saudi Arabia 2013 brought together 150 of its most trusted distribution partners in the Kingdom to discuss Huawei's channel strategy for 2013, Huawei's latest products and new cooperation opportunities.

One of Huawei's main focuses for 2013 is growth in Saudi Arabia by driving further adoption and optimization of cloud data centre solutions and 'Pacific Ocean' network pipe catering to the rapid growing requirements for vitalization and bandwidth. Partners attending the event had the opportunity to review with Huawei various business strategies designed to better meet the demands of the fast paced ICT industry of the Kingdom.

James Wu, CEO of Huawei KSA, welcomed all attendees at the beginning and gave a strong message: "The way to bring Huawei success in Enterprise is to work together with partners. We are willing and more than happy to work with our partners to build a better future through a better way."

Mohammed Al-Mandeel, CEO of Synoptic, a long standing Riyadh based Huawei channel partner, commented at the event "At Synoptic we specialize in providing tailored unified communication solutions to our customers. Having Huawei as our partner allows us to provide end-users with innovative ICT products that can help their businesses grow. The Huawei Enterprise Business Strategy was launched in early 2011, and Huawei has since invested heavily in the development of its Channel Partner Program, which is an integral part of the company's growth strategy in the Middle East. Since its inception, Huawei Enterprise has signed 23 channel partners at various levels based on it stringent and thorough selection criteria.

Huawei Enterprise has hosted a number of channel partner summits in 2012 the most recent being at this year's GITEX Dubai. Huawei has shown great dedication to the expansion of their channel partner programme in the region and will continue this effort into 2013.

In the enterprise market, Huawei offers an extensive product and solution portfolio in ICT that spans from enterprise network infrastructure, enterprise communications, data centres and industry applications.

Huawei provides data centre solutions and enterprise applications to support the needs of the cloud computing era. The company today, has nearly 4,000 employees working in 14 offices covering 9 countries across the Middle East.
