IBQ appoints Andrew Ball Head and Hassan Al Mulla Deputy Head of Retail Banking

International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) announced two key executive appointments within Retail Banking. Andrew Ball is appointed Head of Retail Banking while Hassan Al Mulla is appointed Deputy Head of the division.
The new appointments, additionally, underlines IBQ's active Qatarization scheme particularly in leadership positions.
Jabra Ghandour, Managing Director of IBQ, said, "Andrew and Hassan are promising talents within the retail banking division, I am sure their broad experience will further improve IBQ's distinguished market position in Qatar. Our focus on the quality of our team, innovative products and our culture of service excellence have always contributed to IBQ's recognition with a number of international awards. These new executive appointments, in turn, will serve our aim to remain the Bank of Choice in Qatar."
Andrew Ball said, "I'm honoured to lead this great team in one of the oldest, most prestigious financial institutions in Qatar. Before assuming his new post, Andrew was Head of Strategic Projects at IBQ, prior to which he held senior positions within local and international banks within the Gulf area and Europe.
Meanwhile, Hassan Al Mulla said, "This is a new challenging opportunity for me at IBQ. It demonstrates the bank's serious commitment towards offering rewarding and exciting career opportunities for its Qatari staff.
