Thirty-five Principals and School Owners who participate in iDiscoveri flagship program, XSEED are the core team of educators coming from India and participating in this visit to Greenfield Community School (GCS).

All of the participants represent the best schools in India and are "a mixture of big-city and small-town settings". XSEED, a comprehensive solution for quality teaching and learning in schools, has gone to scale reaching 700 schools across India with visible impact on student learning. Led by alumni of Harvard, Cambridge, IIM, and IIT, the team of 250+ professionals consists of former principals, education experts and child psychologists with strong competencies in curriculum design, professional development and assessment.

GCS will introduce the school and its practices. Classroom visits in both Primary and Secondary Year Programs are scheduled so they can experience student-teacher interaction that emphasizes inquiry, exploration and application. During the classroom visits the team will observe curricular approaches and their visible connections to classroom transaction and classroom management practices that engage different learners. The group will have a guided tour of the Curricular and Extra-Curricular "Work-Areas" especially the Design-Technology Lab and the Arts program areas. There will be many opportunities for brief interaction with working students and teachers.

The session will end with presentation from the students of the International Baccalaureate Career-related Certificate (IBCC) Work-Study (Vocational) program. Finally, iDiscoveri will facilitate a short reflection session on learning with summary observation of the XSEED group.
