IKEA set to open Doha store next week

Ikea has announced its first store in Qatar is set for official opening on March 11, the Peninsula has reported. Developed by Dubai-based Al Futtaim Group, the store will open on March 7 as a test day to ensure it is completely operational for the official opening, the company said. "We are very excited about IKEA's arrival into this rapidly growing market and look forward to welcoming the people of Qatar to our store for the official public opening on March 11 at 10am," said John Kersten, managing director of IKEA UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Oman.
