IMF forecasts no difference for Muscat market

The Muscat Securities Market fell 0.25% to 6,129.46 points Monday. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said the Omani economy is forecast to grow 4.2% this year, 3.5% in 2014 and would maintain a moderate growth rate, which will average 3.8% to 2018, Muscat Daily has reported. But Oman's minister of finance Darwish Al-Balushi said on April 1 he projects his country's growth rate at 6% for 2013.
