Industrial land allocated for women in Saudi Arabia

The mayoralty of Saudi city Al-Ahsa has assigned an area estimated at 500,000 sq m to the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) for establishing the first industrial estate for women, Saudi Gazette has reported. The move is in line with a cabinet decision approving the rules for delineating city urban zones and areas within the city boundaries for setting up industrial projects in which women will work.
