- PRESS RELEASE
Insitu will showcase its combat-proven tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) products, services and capabilities at the 2013 International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) Feb. 17-21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Next Generation Hush Engine
Insitu's next generation hush engine on ScanEagle is an improved propulsion module that delivers more power with increased fuel efficiency. Designed to excel in high elevations and hot environments, this technological leap provides customers with an increased rate of climb and more time on target to accomplish the mission.
EO900 High Magnification Imager
The EO900 imager provides nearly a fivefold improvement from the current daytime imager with picture-in-picture view. The increased continuous optical zoom and picture-in-picture view enables operators, imagery analysts and commanders to simultaneously view a broad area on land or sea while zooming in on a specific object of interest. Insitu representatives will demonstrate this imagery and its benefits to the warfighter in booth U-024.
