Intel announced third annual Intel Science Competition-Arab World to kick off December 16th in Dubai

Intel announced the third annual Intel Science Competition-Arab World (ISC-AW), in partnership with the UAE Ministry of education will take place in Dubai from December 16th to 19th at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The competition aims to encourage talented students aged 14-18 to show their talents and their innovative insights in scientific research to execute scientific projects based on the methodology and tenets of scientific research.

"Innovation is an inseparable part of Intel's core culture and one of our main pillars in our "Egypt Tomorrow" initiative. That's why at Intel we consider it's our duty to give those young scientists and innovators the opportunity to explore their potential and to foster their development through mentorship, investment in research. We are proud of the great minds participating this year as they are very inspirational by proposing great solutions designed to make our cities and our lives more sustainably great," stated Karim El Fateh, Intel Egypt country manager.

The four days event will gather more than 100 students to present 70 projects to an elite panel of judges. Students will compete for financial awards and scholarships from 11 Arab countries across region: Egypt, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Tunisia and UAE.
