  • United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, October 31 - 2012 at 12:00

InterContinental Abu Dhabi has announced the re-appointment of Reema Baroudi as the Director PR & Communications.

Reema brings with her 14 years of extensive hospitality experience spent with IHG. She transferred to InterContinental Abu Dhabi in 2006, coming from InterContinental Jordan, to assist in preparing for the reopening after the major refurbishment the hotel undertook.

She administered the PR & Communications strategy and managed to position InterContinental Abu Dhabi amongst the leading 5 stars hotels in the capital. She played a vital role in the launch of The Yacht Club, Chamas and the Belgian Bear Café, the three signature dining venues.

Reema decided to join the media world in 2010 to enhance her experience in the field which she enjoyed for two years. Her passion for the hospitality industry and being a true hotelier, she accepted the challenge to once again head the PR & Communications team at InterContinental Abu Dhabi.

Commenting on Reema's return, Dieter Franke, General Manager of InterContinental Abu Dhabi said, "I am delighted to welcome Reema back to the IHG family. Her extensive experience and dedication will be great asset to the success of the hotel."

Speaking about her appointment Reema added, "I am thrilled to be taking on this position again and I'm looking forward to this new and exciting challenge."
