Int@j and Endeavor Jordan to host Invest in ICT under the MENA ICT Forum 2013

The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan - int@j and Endeavor Jordan has recently announced hosting the "Invest in ICT" event which will be held on the 6th of March as part of the MENA ICT Forum 2013; taking place at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre, Dead Sea, and titled "Arab ICT Spring: Realizing Potential".

The Invest in ICT is a regional investment event that will provide participating investors and companies with better exposure and valuable networking opportunities.

The event, focusing on the ICT sector, will bring together local and regional investors along with companies in the region seeking investment. The key feature of the event is the matchmaking sessions which will allow entrepreneurs to have one-on-one sessions with potential investors. Other activities during this event would include keynote speeches, roundtable discussion and informal networking activities.

"We need to start focusing on building a regional ICT investment engine to ensure a solid, coherent, and integral investment attraction. That is why this event is an essential pillar of the MENA ICT Forum. It will allow companies to promote their ideas and explore opportunities in light of the recent regional economic changes affecting companies growth, export and expansion plans" said Abed Shamlawi, CEO at Int@j.

"Endeavor has been successful in organizing similar investor events around the world, and we are pleased to organize the first event taking this format in the region along with Int@j. The speed networking allows companies to network with investors and mentors get solid feedback about their products or services, gain tips on how to improve their business and learn what key characteristics investors are looking for." Added Rasha Manna, Managing Director at Endeavor Jordan. "Even if the company does not receive an investment, the knowledge-gain is still very beneficial".
