Commenting on Invensys's participation at the conference, Jigar Shah - Services Business Leader, Middle East & North Africa said, "Industrial incidents worldwide remind us of our duty towards assuring the safety of our assets, the environment and, most importantly, our people. Process Safety Management is no longer an option and the responsibility falls on all of us to adhere to the most stringent standards applied in the right perspective and relevant processes, local environment and geographical sensitiveness. It is our belief that we all have a responsibility to each other to learn and continuously improve as an industry. We need to make the worrying trend in process incidents a thing of the past.
